Catholic capital, with 43 ha the Vaticano is the smallest state of the world.
A large avenue, the Via della Conciliazione, connect the Tiber river and the Castle Sant'Angelo to the Saint Peter square and its basilica.
This space was the ancient "borgo", district, tipic with its little streets but which was erased by the Mussolini works.
Northward the Vaticano, the Prati-Clodio district, residential with some bars and restaurants.
