Square Saint Peter of Rome
The Saint Peter square is famous for its columns, drawn by Gian Lorenzo Bernini.
It is large of 320 meters with central ellipses of 240 meters and is surrounded by 4 files of 284 columns and 88 pillars.
The balustrade on the columns is decorated with 140 statues of Saints. At the, an enormous perron with three plates and on the sides the statues of Saint Peter and Saint Paul. In the middle of the square are two large fountains and an obelisk.
There are two places on the square where there is the illusion that the four lines of columns merge in only one.
This square is particularly impressive in dust.
